Reporting to the Operations Manager – Manufacturing, we are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our Manufacturing Team and be responsible for:
- Leading, managing and coordinating the production of transformers across different departments or on specialised products.
- Ensuring staff are adequately equipped to succeed so jobs are completed efficiently, on time and to the required standards.
- Leading, training and mentoring staff for high performance.
- Health and Safety leadership among the team ensuring all rules and processes are followed.
- Ensuring all quality standards are met by implementing and monitoring checks and measures to ensure SOP’s are correct and being adhered to.
What you’ll have:
- 5+ years Production Management role in a manufacturing environment - preferably in manufacturing or assembly.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Previous leadership or managerial experience.
- Experience implementing Lean manufacturing or 5s framework highly regarded.
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail, process driven and quality focused.
